Ramen!!! I tried it

Herashai = Welcome

The Basics of Making Ramen:

First, mixing the ingrediants well, if not noodle wil not have a balanced flavor.
Next, you have to knead, if not there will be no texture to the noodle.
Then, stretching the noodles while keeping the thickness the same
Finally, adding it to the soup

I personally like it with extra eggs inside it as well

The steps of eating Ramen:

When eating a new Ramen, the first thing you should do is taste on spoonful of soup.
Next, you deep in the noodle into the soup to absorb the stock.

I Finally had it..

Global Orgasm For World Peace!!!

Ppl be ready for 22/12/06..

San Francisco: Two peace activists have planned a massive anti-war demonstration for the first day of winter. But they don’t want you marching in the streets. They’d rather you just stay home.
The Global Orgasm for Peace was conceived by Donna Sheehan, 76, and Paul Reffell, 55, who live together on a houseboat along scenic Tomales Bay in Marin County. Their immodest goal is for everyone in the world to have an orgasm on December 22 while focusing on world peace.
“The orgasm gives out an incredible feeling of peace during it and after it,” Reffell said on Sunday. “Your mind is like a blank. It’s like a meditative state. And mass meditations have been shown to make a change.” The couple are no strangers to sex and social activism. Sheehan, no relation to fellow Northern California anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan, brought together nearly 50 women in 2002 who stripped naked and spelled out the word “Peace” on a hillside in Marin County. The stunt spawned a minimovement called Baring Witness that led to similar unclothed demonstrations worldwide.
The couple have studied evolutionary psychology and believe that war is mainly an outgrowth of men trying to impress potential mates, a case of “my missile is bigger than your missile,” as Reffell put it. By promoting what they hope to be a synchronised global orgasm, they hope to get people to channel their energy into something more positive.
“Religion, science, art, medicine—you name any great accomplishment that the human race has made and none of it has stopped war and aggression,” Sheehan said. “We thought, ‘What’s the next unbelievable, untested biological gift that we’ve all been given?’ The orgasm.”
The couple have been receiving 26,000 visitors a day to their site. Sheehan said she received “a letter from a man in Istanbul” who lamented that as he lacked a partner, he couldn’t take part. They assured him there were no rules for when, where or how the orgasm was achieved, as long as it was on the given day, she said. “It’s what ever turns you on,” Reffell said. Participants can identify one another through the “secret signal,” of a thumb and forefinger shaped to form the letter O.
The one guideline Sheehan and Reffell do encourage everyone to follow is to practice safe sex and use birth control, citing overpopulation as a source of many of the world’s woes.

Jamaican Rastafarians & Judaism!!!

Part I

King Solomon’s dynasty

It all starts with King Solomon the son of David (Prophet Suleiman the son of prophet Daud) being the wise ruler of an empire centred on the united kingdom of Israel.

In the Hebrew Tanakh (Old Testament) he is identified as the final king before the northern Kingdom of Israel and the southern Kingdom of Judah split.

In the time of King Solomon (prophet Suleiman), Queen Makeba aka Queen Balqis ruled over the empire of Sheba (Saba) which consisted of Ethiopia, Yemen, Egypt & parts of Persia. A well known story of Solomon says that he came to know about Queen Balqis through a talking bird (Hoopoe) that informed him of the great rich ruler that had people worshipping the sun. Solomon invites her to submit to “God the most Gracious & Merciful”.

And so the queen responds by sending gifts to Solomon which offend him. He begins to make preparations for war as he returns the envoys of the Queen with the gifts. The queen then decides to personally visit him. Cutting the story short it is said that the Queen married Solomon converting her to the God of Abraham which she then changed her empire to, the religion was Judaism.

On her return, Balqis (Makeba) was pregnant by Solomon and had promised him that if she bore a son she would send the boy to Jerusalem for instruction by his father. The son was born in Eritrea and was named Menelik I, true to the promise the boy was sent having sworn that as heir and successor to the kingdom he would return to Ethiopia. When Menelik was leaving his father back to Ethiopia, King Solomon saw to it that he was accompanied by the sons of his priests; he wanted to ensure that the religion of Abraham would continue in Ethiopia.

Menelik I then became the first Emperor, King of Kings of Ethiopia. According to legend, he founded the Solomonic dynasty that ruled Ethiopia for close to three thousand years and 225 generations later ended with the fall of Emperor Haile Selassie in 1974.

Part II

The Lion of Judah

Within Judaism the Lion of Judah has its origins in the Book of Genesis of the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament) where the Israelite tribe Judah had the lion as its symbol. It is said that the patriarch Jacob (Yaqub) referred to his son as Judah as a Gur Aryeh a “Young Lion”. With modern Jews, variations or translations of the word “Lion” have been used as a substitute name for Judah.

In Rastafari, “The Lion of Judah” represents His Imperial Majest Haile Selassie I being him the direct descendent of the Israelite Tribe of Judah. The name/family background that links him to King Solomon the son of David.

Part III

The Rise of Rastafari

Ethiopia had symbolized all of Africa for the slave-descended Jamaicans since as far back as 1784

Garvey the founder of “United Negro Improvement Association” in Jamaica had a prophecy known as the “Look
Africa” which then became the seed for Jamaican Rastafari, the spark that started the revolution “Rastafarianism”.

Many wonder why was it named Rastafari?! It was so called that because “Ras Tafari” was Haile Selassie’s given name. To the Rastafarians he was the Living God of Abraham and Isaac, He Whose Name Should Not Be Spoken.

Click here to see amazing performance

Born in
West Chester, PA and raised in White Plains, NY, the young man formerly known as Matthew Miller would undertake a monumental odyssey before discovering his path - and voice - as Matisyahu (the Hebrew equivalent of "Matthew," and the name he became known by when he became observant). Via adventures in Colorado, Israel, Oregon, and New York City, he not only heard a profound spiritual calling, but also discerned a revolutionary way to share his discoveries and reflections, via the reggae and hip-hop sounds that had long been an integral part of his day-to-day soundtrack.

Matisyahu studied Torah seriously in Hadar Hatorah, a yeshiva for returnees to Judaism, and he wrote and recorded his first album while still a student there. He counts among his musical inspirations Bob Marley, Phish, and Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach, while giving credit to Rabbi Simon Jacobson's book Toward A Meaningful Life for the lyrical inspiration to the title song of his new album, Youth.

Matisyahu & Kenny Muhammad

The music, developed partly with his backing band Roots Tonic has a unique sound, mixing reggae, traditional rap, and guitar solos typical of rock music. His fans are of different walks of life, religions, and ethnicities. He sometimes performs with Kenny Muhammad, a Muslim beatboxer. Matisyahu's major label debut album was produced by avant-garde musician and producer Bill Laswell, with minor contribution by pop producers Jimmy Douglass and the Ill Factor.

His reggae vocal style is along the lines of traditional Rasta Roots stylings mixed with dub sound.

On Youth, Matisyahu explores his musical universe. Produced by legendary reggae and dub producer Bill Laswell, with additional production by Jimmy Douglass and Ill Factor. The character of the album's thirteen new songs span a wide gamut. From the stark acoustic guitar driven track "What I'm Fighting For" to the syncopated African rhythms of "Ancient Lullabye" to the bumping beats, burbling bass, and of "Jerusalem," YOUTH is definitely a creative step forward for the band, one they are excited to bring to their audiences.

Good n bad addictions!!!

I learned how to play a new card game called “Tricks” and I know for a fact, I am going to get so addicted to it very soon.

I am always addicted to something, sometimes that addiction goes on for months some times days only, It can be anything a person (Chicks only of-course :P), it can be a game like cards, basketball, soccer. I’m always high on music so I’m excluding that from the list of addiction I’m talking about.

Once I remember my room just had to be clean, so I used to clean it almost everyday, days later I just went back to being old dirty nasty ME. I’m no longer addicted to Anime & Manga or the TV shows I used to/still watch, series such as “Lost, Prison Break, etc”.
Yesterday life was stable and fun and im talking literally yesterday. Today life is a boat that is sailing to where the wind is taken it and I have no control of it. Tomorrow it will either be me going with the follow and that’s the usual “ME” or I will be happy cause a big n sudden change has occurred and put me in the greatest mood eva.

Now I am only feeling this feel because I don’t know what’s my next addiction and with an addiction life seems stable. It doesn’t matter if its work, sex, sport, art or a feeling that pleases u.

Everyone is addicted to something always or he/she will always feel that something is missing.

I’m proud of my self because I quit drinking a year ago (maybe more), I quit smoking cigarettes but hey I’m addicted to shisha now LoL. Never got into drugs and those kinda things and I’m not a sucker for love.

Am i proud to be an arab?!

Dallas Austin

Lots of ppl don’t know him but who is into the music industry they must have heard his name here or there. Austin is an American RnB/Hiphop (I don’t think so) producer that went to a trip to Dubai and was caught in the airport carrying illegal drugs (Cocaine) a couple of weeks ago.

There was a story a few months back about a Saudi that was caught carrying illegal drugs. He was sentenced for 6 years in jail. Now I was happy when the American producer was caught cause being stupid n dull as I am I said; them American are gonna get a tiny bit piece of justice from us. Maybe they won’t sentence him for 6 years, he might only get 2 years but that’s more then enough for me. Let’s show the world that we don’t differentiate..

There was an Omani that was caught carrying hashish with him and he was sentenced for 4 years in jail. A huge Indian business man was caught in Dubai carrying illegal drugs and he was pardoned after an agreement of investing in the country.

I was shocked when I read the news on the 4th of July. I read this DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (CNN) -- The ruler of Dubai has pardoned a Grammy-winning music producer who had been sentenced to four years in prison on charges of carrying cocaine into the country.”

And all I could say was arabs don’t fail to prove it to us n the rest of the world that they or should I say we are white men cock suckers, I don’t wanna be racist so it actually doesn’t matter white or black anyone that holds a western passport has no problems in this part of the world.. Opps that’s why they continue takin dumps on us..

My bad ppl.. I just needed something to remind me whats happenin in this world today..

Does Family Matter?!

My grandma’s older sis just passed away. Mama knocks on the door at 11:03 Friday morning.

G screams “Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?!”.
Mom says “Mam Kubwa (her nickname) just passed away”

I took a shower, picked up the dishdasha I was going to wear and started ironing it. Mom walks into the room and asks me to iron her scarf for her. Just to see how she is feeling after hearing the terrible news I said
“She always used to be on N (My sister) is case, asking her to sit like a lady for once. Thank god my sister is feminine, married and happy now:”

Mom laughs and says “Ya she used to lecture me for letting your sister be a tomboy”

25 minutes later we go to her step sons house in Adheeba. Not wanting to walk in, me and my elder brother run away to the mosque for Jum3a prayers. As soon as we got back to the house me and my bro see mom crying like she was a 14 year old kid that just lost her mother. (Mam Kubwa is the woman that raised my mom).

In the last couple of years, my mom has not been in good terms with her due to some family issues. The main problem actually started about 5 years ago when my grandma’s step kids did something to my mom n dad. It's something I can’t explain because its pretty bad and i don't want to write about family problems in the net.
Anyway neglecting that issue grandma used to force my mom to visit family members all the time but my mom would refuse to do so since no one visited Us or came to our house to check on her. Yet she visited them or at least stayed in touch with them through phone calls. Not only that, but they also had the nerve to call her and ask for help when in need and wouldn’t do the same if she was in trouble.

Mother finally gave up in being a family person, Grandma always was on her case about that and one day me mama couldn’t take it, so she asked Grandma to stay out of her life when it comes to such problems. Mom explained that she is not a young girl anymore and she can take decisions by her self. She explained that she can’t see what the point of carrying about ppl that cared-less about her. She also explained that Grandma has been on her case for about 4 years now and Mama’s only reason for staying quiet was because of how much she respected her. But now she just can’t take it anymore.

That’s the reason my mom felt guilty, she cried like a baby. Since that fight (4 Years ago) they haven’t spoken to each other as often. Mom only got to see granda once after the fight. She cried on the day of the funeral hoping that grandma forgave her before she passed away. “Was I right or was I wrong?!” after washing her face, mom could not help but ask that question.

I personally am not a family guy. You ask about me, I ask about you. You visit me, I will also visit you. That goes to friends, family (as in cousin & aunts) and also Siblings. Most of the time, I would visit or call just to fulfil my part of being a family/friend member but then I need to see that it’s a two way street. If it’s not then I’ll probably say hi to you and have a laugh or two when we bump into each other but do not ask me where have you been?1 its been a while and im angry too.

Enough with the bullshit man will be my answer.

Should this be considered a fuss?! Part I

I’m sure everyone heard about the caricatures of the prophet Muhammad published in the Danish newspaper Jyllands. When this first happened, the OIC complained about it but neither the government nor the newspaper agreed to apologize claiming that they have freedom of speech in their country.

Recently a director with Arla told the Jyllands-Posten – (the newspaper) that some Arabic countries have stopped selling its dairy produce and had begun a boycott of Danish goods. Now they start to apologize as they called the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia for consultation.

To view the pictures please visit the link.

Should this be considered a fuss?! – Part II

Quwat el-Hamas won the election ladies and gentlemen. I was flipping channels last night, actually my mother was and all we could hear were what ifs. The most what if I was concerned about was what if US stopped giving aid to Palestinians. Hamas asked them not to cut aid but no one knows what will happen.

My mother was also telling me that this could turn out to be a really, really good thing since its proven that ppl that were a menace to society or a menace in any way possible have changed after giving them a political role. One of these ppl was Mr.Yassir Arafat. Back in his days he was also in a group almost like the Hamas but he has changed and the impact or the difference he has done was great.

It’s a nice beginning, I hope we will come to hear greater stuff inshallah. Who said 2006 is gonna be a bad year?!

The World Today!!!

The Palm Tree is sinking. The project that’s in Dubai is not stable and they are fighting it. Ppl if your company sales cement then this is the right time to work you ass off. Inshallah in the feature you can tell your kids that you helped to have that done.

Everything in this world now is artificial, the palm island, on the drive to Abu Dhabi from Dubai you can notice the artificial sea on your right, a part of the wave project (they are building an extended land on the sea), The Blue City in Bahrain & Sawadi (the artificial lakes inside it), in Abu Dhabi I heard they are making an artificial Island that’s gonna have water land on it.

My dad used to work for the ministry of fisheries and agriculture in
Oman. With all his powers he tried to stop (I don’t know who) from building share3 el 7ob since it was the main place for fish to lay their eggs in Muscat. BTW this project was ready since 1996 and we only got to see share3 el 7ub in year 2000. My dad left the country in 99 I think. Fish would lay eggs there cause it was the warmest place in Muscat due to the sea plants in that area. Now they do so after Bandar khairan and some place in Sawadi. Which means from Sawadia all the way till after Khairan fish can’t lay their eggs there or it (the eggs) will die.

This means less fish for us Omanis in the long run (too long to explain how stuff works).

With all these projects today, broken down mountains, artificial islands & lakes. Aren’t we affecting the weather in some way? The system that God has put/set on us has been moved, I’m not really a biologist or anything close to that but won’t changing the shape of earth cause bad weather and deadly storms?!
